49b: Antenna not clubbed (Figures 26-5A-B) *If a mistake is made early in the key, the myxophagan family Hydroscaphidae will key out here. These tiny (length 1.0 to 1.2 mm) beetles can be recognized by the elongate, narrow last antennomere, which does not fit either the "distinct club" or "not clubbed" choice, as well as by the presence of notopleural sutures.
