I finally got around to writing up this trip in April, 2020, about 16 years after the hike.  My memory of the trip is not detailed, except for the the accident Brianna had when she badly cut her shin.

This was a 5-day trip taken over Brianna's spring break.  This was Brianna's first Grand Canyon backpack. 

Brianna and I flew to Phoenix and rented a car, then drove to the Canyon.  Unfortunately I cannot remember if we drove to the Canyon early in the morning and started hiking in the afternoon, or if we stayed at a lodge on the rim.
