I finally got around to writing up this trip in April, 2020, about 14 years after the hike.  My memory of the trip is not detailed, but because it was with my 12-year old daughter, I think I remember more about this trip than I otherwise would have.

This was a 5-day trip taken over Brianna's spring break.  This was Brianna's second Grand Canyon backpack.  The first was two years ago to Phantom Ranch and back.

Brianna and I drove to Grand Canyon from Boulder.  We spent the night at one of the lodges near the rim.
