Esplanade to Spring in Sinyella Fault Ravine

The weather this morning was cool and clear, but clouds were moving in, along with a brisk wind.  The hiking was easy, but  lots of tedious gullies and side canyons made for slow going.  The views were spectacular.  We passed to the right (east) of Mount Sinyella, and had a great view of The Dome in the distance.  We headed a large, unnamed canyon, then Sinyella Canyon, and then headed straight for the top of the fault ravine that drops into Matkatamiba.  By now the weather had deteriorated and we were engulfed in blowing snow and graupel.  It took a little over an hour to get down the fault ravine to the spring, located about 2/3 of the way through the Supai.  We set up camp for the night.
