Today's route stats: 

    Distance:  3.1 miles

    Elevation Gain:  100 feet

    Elevation Loss:  1600 feet

Today would be easier than yesterday -- shorter with less elevation loss.  We reached the Tipoff in about 45 minutes, where the steep descent begins again. 

Starting Down from the Tipiff. Brianna and Zoroaster Temple. Cottonwoods at Phantom Ranch.

Black Bridge. Bright Angel Campground. Phantom Ranch Cantina.
