Today's route stats: 

We knew today was going to be easy, so we slept late and took our time getting packed up.  It was only 5.7 miles back to Swamp point, but we also wanted to cross the plateau, at the narrowest spot, to get views off the west side. 

The views from the west side of the plateau were awesome.  We also stumbled on several foundation outlines of buildings built by the ancients. 

Powell Plateau is huge.  We saw only a small part of it.  I would love to explore more, but the lack of water makes this difficult.
