Nankoweap Creek to Tilted Mesa


 


Today's route stats: 

    Distance:  3.5 miles

    Elevation Gain:  3450 feet

    Elevation Loss:  0 feet

Even though we were not hiking all the way back to the trailhead today, and we only had about 3.5 miles to go, we had 3550 feet to climb.  We also had a cache, which meant our packs were pretty light. 

Our campsite was actually a little higher than Tilted Mesa.  We were lucky that the weather was perfect.  Wind and/or rain would make this site inhospitable.
