Today's Route Stats:

   Distance:  3.5 miles

   Elevation Gain:  200 feet

   Elevation Loss:  300 feet

We had 3 canyons to head today, along with their myriad branches.  Fortunately they were not as difficult as we expected.  As always, finding the right line thru the usual maze at the canyon's head is crucial. 

We typically got started in the morning before 8 AM.  Today we were at our camp by noon.

It was starting to get hot during the afternoons.  And the sun was fierce.  We spent the afternoon moving from one shady spot to another.
