Today we headed up the canyon, looking for rock art.  We planned to go only a few miles before camping.  But it would be a dry camp, so we had to carry water -- about 6 quarts each.  Because there we no good campsites in the area, we camped on the sand in the drainage.  The following photos speak for themselves.
